CREATIVE STRATEGIES WITH HI-VIS AGENCY

Living Lake Project artist fellows gathered at the Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center (JACC) in Post Falls for a hands-on, artist-only workshop with Mary Welcome and Kelly Gregory of Hi-Vis Agency, exploring what's possible when creativity meets community and civic life.

In just 60 minutes, the session dug into the full range of tools and strategies fellows can draw on to deepen their engagement throughout the fellowship:

  • Creative approaches to documentation — capturing experience and observation in meaningful ways
  • Tools for ideation — frameworks for generating and developing new ideas in the field
  • Fieldwork integration strategies — bringing artistic practice into real-world community settings
  • Building community connection and civic engagement through creative work

Fellows left with printed materials to reference, build on, and carry forward through the rest of the fellowship and beyond.

After the workshop, Hi-Vis and artists gathered for a group dinner.
